ROK Mobile has announced a new and exciting addition to its sponsorship portfolio – that of Team Halfords in the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season. “ROK Mobile is delighted to be sponsoring Team Halfords,” CEO Mark Imrie said, “and we look forward to an excellent BTCC season.”

The double championship-winning team heads into its second year with its Team Dynamics built-and-designed Honda Civic aiming to build on a stunning 2007 campaign, where the car won five times and helped Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal finish third and fourth in the championship standings

Shedden returns for another season with the team in 2008 alongside young-gun Tom Chilton and the pair welcome onboard ROK Mobile as one of the team’s sponsors for the 50th anniversary BTCC campaign.

Team Halfords team boss Steve Neal was delighted to add the top-line sponsor to the team’s portfolio for the season ahead and said the new deal showed the increasing strength of the leading privateer outfit.
